Winter '10 GO-Dodgeball Atlanta Champions Crowned

Hello Winter Go-Dodgeballers,

 
We hope everyone enjoyed the Winter Dodgeball season and being active indoors during the cold winter months.  Thank you for playing with us and we look forward to enjoying the sport again this summer! 

The winter season reached an exciting conclusion this past week with the exhilarating league tournaments that determined our League Champions!  Our league champs then met Sunday night for a Final Four showdown to determine the overall GO-Dodgeball Atlanta City Champion!   We saw many intensely competitive games and several Cinderella stories throughout the hotly-contested tournaments!  It all came down to the championship match between Sunday PRUMC league champs, Superman Dat Throw, verses the defending summer champs The Original Kings of Dodgeball from the Thursday MBC league.   Despite having just played 5 matches earlier to win the Sunday league tournament and reach the Final, Superman Dat Throw dug down deep and played a masterful climatic match, winning 5-2 to de-throne the Original Kings and crown themselves the new 2010 GO-Dodgeball Winter Atlanta City champions!  Congratulations to Superman Dat Throw and to all teams!   It was an exciting tourney and we hope everyone had a great time.

GO-Dodgeball is going to take the Spring season off as we're all going to be enjoying the outdoors playing kickball.  But Dodgeball will return for the Summer season.   Be sure to revisit our Dodgeball webpage in May/June to register for Summer Dodgeball, and make sure you are on the email list to receive announcements about the upcoming season.

GOkickball introduces your Winter alternative -- Dodgeball!

Winter '09 Dodgeball Atlanta

GOkickball is offerring a Winter season Dodgeball league at multiple gyms around Atlanta.  All games will be indoors starting at the beginning of January and ending at the end of February 2010.  Registration opens on Wednesday, November 4th at 12:00p.  Sign up early to make sure you get the gym location your prefer.

Summer '09 GO-Dodgeball Atlanta Champions Crowned

Hello GO-Dodgeballers. 
 
Thank you for participating in summer Dodgeball!.  The season concluded with a great summer championship tournament!  Everyone showed up excited to play hard, and we saw a lot of thrilling and intense games.  It all came down to the championship match between the #1 seeded The Original Kings of Dodgeball and #2 Team America.  Team America took a quick 3-0 lead in the best-of-9 match, but TOKOD answered by winning the next 2 to make it 3-2.  Team America won the next game to make it 4-2.  That's when the Original Kings of Dodgeball, facing elimination, actually "ran the table" and won the last 3 games un-answered to win the match 5 games to 4 and take the Summer GO-Dodgeball Championship! 

Congratulations to The Original Kings of Dodgeball and to all teams!  It was an exciting tourney and we hope everyone had a great time.  
 
GO-Dodgeball is going to take the Fall season off as we're all going to be enjoying the outdoors playing kickball.  But Dodgeball will return for the Winter season.   Be sure to visit our Dodgeball webpage in early November to register for Winter Dodgeball, and make sure you are on the email list to receive announcements about the upcoming season.
